Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Raging Monk Studio ("Studio"), run by Raging Monk, collects, why, and what happens to it. Studio is a tool for businesses that work with Raging Monk. Questions go to launch@ragingmonk.co.

What we collect

• Your Google sign-in: your email address and name, used only to check that you were invited to a workspace and to record who did what.
• From TikTok, when your business connects its account: the account's open ID, display name and profile picture (TikTok's user.info.basic permission), and the access and refresh tokens TikTok issues for uploading videos (the video.upload permission).
• Videos you upload: the MP4 file, its name and size, and any caption you type.
• Activity records: who connected or disconnected an account, and who sent which video, with dates and TikTok's upload status.

How we use it

• To show you which TikTok account a video will go to.
• To upload the videos you choose to that account's TikTok inbox, as drafts.
• To show your workspace its upload history.

We do not use TikTok data for advertising, profiling, or anything other than the uploads you ask for. We do not sell or share it.

Where it is kept and how it is protected

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database and file storage hosted by Railway. TikTok tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored. Each workspace's data is only shown to that workspace's members and to Raging Monk staff who support it.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded video files: 7 days, then deleted. The upload record (file name, status, who sent it) stays with your workspace history.
• TikTok tokens: until your business disconnects TikTok, or the workspace is closed.
• Activity records: for the life of the workspace.

Disconnecting and deletion

Anyone in a workspace can press Disconnect on the workspace page. Studio then asks TikTok to revoke its access and deletes the stored tokens and profile details. You can also remove Studio from your TikTok app under Settings and privacy, Security, Apps and services. To have a workspace and all its records deleted, email launch@ragingmonk.co; we do it within 30 days.

Third parties

• TikTok receives the videos you send and handles them under its own privacy policy.
• Google handles sign-in.
• Railway hosts the service.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes, and workspace owners are told by email about anything significant.
